The Red Sea shipping crisis

It is reported that global trade has declined by 1.3% in just one month, from November to December 2023 since the attacks on the Red Sea began. The Red Sea serves an important role in the global economy as the canal reduces the shipping distance between Asia and Europe by almost half.
