JSL Foundation has established Jindal Institute of Industrial Training in Hisar (Haryana) and Jajpur (Odisha) to impart training to the youth in order to make them economically independent and self-reliant. The courses taught at these institutes have been developed keeping in mind the existing and future market demands. The institutes are equipped with modern training infrastructure and instructors who individually mentor the students.
Basic and advanced courses are being run in Dress Designing & Fashion Technology, Beauty Culture, Industrial Electrical, Computer Software, Hardware, and Networking, etc. Special training programs reach out to communities with differently-abled youth. An English and Hindi sign language program is being run in Hisar to cater to them.
To ensure that the training programs are at par with the industry requirements, Jindal Stainless has formed strategic partnerships with the government, various corporate, and NGOs to implement programs. Some of our partners for skill training include National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), Skill India, NIIT Foundation, Schneider Electric, Usha International, DLF Foundation, etc.
The project is aimed at providing sustained employment to rural women and empowering them to become self-reliant and career-oriented.
