UK removes CVD on Indian stainless steel

The UK Government has reached an agreement with the recommendation of the TRA (Trade Remedies Authority) to revoke the countervailing measure imposed on imports of stainless steel bars and rods from India. Based on their findings, the TRA concluded that even if the countervailing measure was removed, subsidized imports would still persist. However, they concluded that it is improbable for the UK industry to suffer harm if the measure is no longer enforced.
