Navy vet welds symbols of American strength and unity out of stainless steel - Jindal Stainless

A veteran from Berkshire County is using his skills from his days of serving in the US Navy to build works of stainless steel art. Gary Czarnecki learnt welding in Scotland while serving at the age of 17. His art symbolizes US’ national symbol and the unity that should be associated with being an American. Crafted out of stainless steel, his sculptures display strength and have stood the test of time. His most ambitious project, Recon, the American Bald Eagle sculpture atop a tree, stands 9 feet tall and weighs more than 600 pounds. This majestic sculpture was completed in six months. It sports a variety of stainless steel round stock and square stock along with No. 8 mirror finish. The tree over which the eagle sculpture is perched is made from 700 stainless steel eagle eggs.
