Microplastics found in every human testicle in study

Microplastics have been discovered in human testicles, and researchers suggest this finding might be linked to declining sperm counts in men. In a study, scientists tested 23 human testes and 47 testes from pet dogs, finding microplastic pollution in every sample.
Although the human testicles had been preserved and their sperm count could not be measured, the sperm count in the dogs’ testes was assessed. The results showed lower sperm counts in samples with higher PVC contamination.
