Jindal Stainless Foundation organizes lecture sessions to counter domestic violence

Jindal Stainless Foundation, in partnership with Woman of the Elements Trust, commenced a project in Haryana on women empowerment that addresses the issue of domestic violence. This program promotes the concept of friendship between the Police and the community at large. This program will not only work to address crime once it has happened but will also undertakes initiatives to prevent it and work as a friend and guide with the community. In line with the same, an awareness session was organised with the community members and related stakeholders. Dr Rashmi Anand, an Indian activist and writer on matters of women empowerment, took the lecture session with stakeholders.
