Global crude stainless steel production falls in first quarter of FY24

According to World Stainless Association, global crude stainless steel production in the first quarter of this year amounted to approximately 13.67 million tonnes, showing a 5% decline compared to the same period last year. China’s production constituted 60.5% of the total production, reaching 8.27 million tonnes, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 4.1%.
