Jindal Stainless Foundation drives awareness on dengue and malaria

Preventive and curative health care of the rural community has been one of the core areas of Jindal Stainless Foundation. Apart from providing services at static clinic, the Foundation joined hands with Government Malaria Control Department, Odisha and organised awareness cum sensitization program within Jajpur plant and the surrounding villages. With the help of Fire and Safety Department, awareness sessions were organised with shop floor employees and workers. Posters, banners were installed and health talk, question answers session were also conducted. A Special program, Dasakathia, a traditional Odia folk art form of ballad singing was also organised in villages. Nearly 2000 individuals participated in these awareness initiatives in July 2021. Education drives on these diseases are held by the Foundation every year on a regular basis.
