Jindal Stainless Foundation acquaints farmers in Hisar with the best of farming technology

In order to upgrade skills and knowledge of farmers at Hisar, the Jindal Stainless Foundation and the Gram Unnati Foundation organized visits of farmers to Hisar and Mewat Krishi Mela by Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University.
At this Mela, farmers got the opportunity to have a dialogue with University scientists and witnessed a live demonstration of scientific production of Rabi crops, high yield verities of seeds, latest farm machinery, equipment, quality seeds, water conservation technologies etc.
Other than this visit, the two Foundations have been carrying out trainings and awareness sessions on various aspects of farming – right from seed selection to soil improvement, and direct connection with buyers.
